facing backwards in a coal scuttle at midnight....

...is apparently what it is like to be crew in the Vulcan. But that's enough of the mighty V bomber.
Friday tomorrow and another batch of students go home. I have grown very fond of this lot. We have had some very lively debates about politics and relationships and the hours have flown by in consequence.
Next week will be bliss, whatever the weather. A week of painting in Lyme. Lovely.
I can't get worked up about our political scene right now. We are in limbo, waiting for the inevitable...and the silly season is just around the corner.........
