I'm enjoying these still lives...I'm on to a pineapple now...such an exquisite structure.
I certainly need a de-stressing activity. I got very tearful today when I saw the damage done by a lorry using my drive to turn round. Four little dogwood saplings battered or trashed and deep furrows driven into the grass. The gravel is, thanks to these daily visitors ( a neighbour has a patisserie business....), pretty much trashed and now, it seems, they mean to finish off the grass. I've had enough. I have donated an area beyond my gate for a communal turning circle but it STILL has not been created so I suffer the consequences of extremely irritable drivers flinging their pantechnicons around on my gravel/grass. I've had it up to here.
