Logs and Gilbert and George...

Glorious weather, unseasonably but blissfully warm. I wobbled up through the mud with the tractor and trailer and then spent half an hour turning the air as blue as the sky as I attempted to back the wretched trailer up to the woodpile. Gaagh! Enough to try the patience of the saint! Having carved some nice deep trenches, I eventually got it where I wanted it...though for much of the time the blasted trailer was alongside the tractor! How does that happen!!
The
peacocks are sunning themselves and tolerating the company of Little, who is very devoted despite frequent peckings from both Mr and Mrs P. Uncharitable souls.
This isn't where my nudes are going...but I could not resist a little play with the Gilbert and George style of quasi stained glass..She is gold, but you can't really tell from the photo.

  1. Mmm Very pert lass! As for driving: you need to turn the steering wheel while looking over your shoulder! (I seem to recall). I have just looked this up for you: "Reversing a trailer is a skill that can be mastered with a little perseverance by anyone who has learned the basic theory. Find somewhere with plenty of space and keep trying until you get it right. It helps to have someone who knows how to do it to tell you where you are going wrong". That is like most things in life.
The National Trailer and Towing Association also offer an instruction video. Now don't ever say I do not care about you. LOL
    Toodle pip.

  2. Thank you for your concern, Lex! I know all about that time thing...but when the trailer goes in the same ( perverse) direction no matter which way you turn the tractor wheels, time and patience soon run out!!
