WHY isn't the media covering Brown's vile mendacity? How come Ashcroft is bigger news than lies to Chilcott? Biased media or what? It's a scandal...and a tragedy for all those whose loved ones have come back from Iraq and Afghanistan in a box. The man's shameless craving for power and evil disregard for truth knows no limits.
I was walking the shore with my Dad in Lincolnshire (when we were still on speaking terms.) I threw a starfish back into the sea. He said, "What's the point ? There are millions of them lying on the beach."

How great to go to Cheltenham. What a race in the Gold Cup - I don't suppose you had any money on Imperial Commander.
ReplyDeleteI am ashamed to say that in the morning I decided to decline what was a very last minute invite...because I dreamed that something happened to Kauto Star and I knew I would be in a dreadful state...and an infiltrator in the Denman camp.. I have adored KS since his first race , when his name was pronounced 'Cato'...I wanted to back him because the BG was going through a Pink Panther phase...he was 14-1, and won..
ReplyDeleteAlso the fog here was dire and I envisaged a tough slog up to Cheltenham and a worse one back in Friday night traffic...Pathetic , I know! I felt a little vindicated when I saw KS survive that first mis-jump and then cartwheel four from home. Poor lad.
Should have said..'one of his early races...four or five years ago, maybe six?
